    Two of my favorite subjects to read about...Holocaust and animals. Loved this book and fell in love with Max. Felt bad when he parted with Calvin. Throughout the 2nd half of the book, I completely forgot Max was blind. A seeing person could not keep up with his speaking engagements and volunteer hours. I hated for this book to end. It will be on my favorites list from now on.
