    If you need to learn to eat healthier to lose weight or lower your blood pressure, this ebook is a great resource. If provides the scientific basis as to how it works, and it understands that there are special occasions where you may not eat as healthy. This isn't a diet, but a way of life. There's a good variety of recipes to help you change bad habits into healthy ones.

    I wish more cookbooks were written in such a straight-forward way. The authors tell you the main ingredients and why they are healthy and then give very clear cut instructions. I don’t like that they recommend non-fat dairy, since nonfat dairy has more sugar than low-fat or full-fat dairy, but this can provide you with basic meals and snacks that are easy to make and delicious.

    I found this cookbook very helpful, especially now that my husband and I are both working to get our blood pressures down. Each of the recipes have both a calorie and sodium count. Makes it easy to track! Our favorite recipe is the Super Fast Breakfast Burrito. I was a little disappointed not to have pictures of the finished dishes, but it really made no difference after I tried a few of the recipes.

    The recipes in this health-conscious cookbook use everyday ingredients and use preparation methods that are popular now. The recipes fill the categories of Breakfast, Snacks and Appetizers, Soups and Salads, Entrees, and Desserts. Actually, all the recipes look as if they would taste really good. I’m not writing this on an empty stomach. I made the Morning Muesli and ate it up just a minute ago.
