    Too many tangents. The author just has too many stories to tell in one book. Also, she had to save too many people for one story. The author has trouble with pacing so when the tension starts to build towards a climax, she goes a different direction into the characters thoughts so you just want the story to get on with it. Jason’s redemption should really have been a separate book and then this one would have been much easier to read.

    I loved this story! Could hardly put it down, finished in two days and want more! My only thing is that there was so much religion. I love good clean romance novels but too much religion is kinda eh. But to each his own! Awesome book and I will definitely read more by this author!

    I love this Christian romance about men who pray faithfully and live according to God. The murder mystery is based on an actual historical murder and adds more depth to the story. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone.

    This is an awful book. It's the first time I've ever stopped reading a book. Instead of crafting a beautiful story this 'author ' has deemed it necessary to use this book as a moral soap box. This is wrong. The occasional reference would have gotten the point across without killing the story. I believe. However I do not enjoy being bombarded by someone's views so much that I can't turn the page. Killed the story. Needs a massive rewrite.

    I read all 4 books in this series and truly enjoyed them. The plots were suspenseful enough to keep me turning the pages and I thought the love stories were sweet. Highly recommend!

    There is nothing even remotely romantic about this book. It's basically a deeply Christian, moralistic story with some warm feelings mixed in. I have nothing against a religious message, but don't advertise it as something it's not. The writing itself was ridiculous too..people living in sin and tests being done to check blood composition, these things didn't happen during this time period! Choppy, clunky writing, a religious message every other page, and nonsensical subject matter make this a total waste of time.

    First 150 pages or so are good. Then the author changes how the story is written and every sentence has the word God or Jesus or references religion in some way. It was Very overdone, so much so I got bored with the story and never finished it. Had the author stuck with the story I would have enjoyed it, but it changed from a lovely story to hard core preaching. Add some religious ideas but not in every sentence. It ruined the story instead of complimenting it. Too bad.
