    I picked this up for supplemental info on marinara sauce. Me and my girlfriend have been experimenting with the garden ingredients and I believed this could help guide us into the right direction. Turns out that this book contains everything I needed for homemade pizza crust as well, which is a staple around my household. Date night has become more interesting since I have an array of awesome Italian cuisine that both me and my girl can enjoy :)

    This is a great book - easy explanations with descriptions of different types of olives, and olive oils, and all the different pastas. Actually, there is something within the pages of The Introduction to Italian Cookbook for Beginners: Over 100 Classic Recipes with Everyday Ingredients for everyone who is interested in learning more about culinary art, not just for the beginner. This cookbook provides some very useful historical information while uniquely weaving in detailed recipes and supportive information. For example, did you know that the true cuisine of Italy is derived from various regions, such as Bologna, Milan, Rome, Piedmont, Sicily, Tuscany, and Venice? Therefore, the term “Italian” food actually does not really exist. I strongly recommend adding this title to one’s library as reference material to be later handed down to the next generation of family cooks.
