    Overall a good book. Parts of it got long in tooth when describing aspects of his life in the secret service. Still well worth the read.
  • Dan Bongino is a patriot

    I enjoyed reading this book. I found it fascination to read about the arduous task it is to be a member of the United States Secret Service. I didn't realize that they do much more that protect the president. I expected, however, some "behind the curtain" insights into the Obama administration. If you're expecting that, you'll be disappointed. He touched on many of the scandals in this administration, but it was no different than what you would hear chatting around the water cooler. I felt that Ch. 21 addressing the Benghazi Scandal with a little more specificity. In my opinion, that chapter and the final one were the best in the book. It was also quite clear that every word was parsed by the Secret Service, the NSA, the CIA and probable many more agencies before it saw the light of day.

    Reading this led to the vow I have always had in my heart. I vow to burst the bubble Mr. Bongino so vividly described and to take back my country from the bureaucrats who have stolen it out from under my nose. This is a must read for all citizens who are fed up with the direction this GREAT country is now taking. We can and must turn the rudder before this vessel strikes the final iceberg and sinks. Thank you Mr. I give this book the 50 stars it deserves.
