    I learned so much. I believe this book has made me more human. I now value each day as a gift, and live in the "Now". Many people think death is something that happens to other people. I think that death scares them. Be prepared, and you will not fear death. It's a journey.

    I highly recommend Final Gifts. It should indeed be read my healthcare providers, especially those caring for the dying. But it is also for anyone who is or will ever be caring for a dying loved one. It provides insight into what happens as we are dying and has provided me with comfort as i think about loved ones who have passed away.
