    What a great book. Well written and hard to put down which is a hallmark of all her books. This one adds on the profound question of what if. It makes you want to examine your own life and wonder if you've made toe right decisions along the way.
  • What Alice made me remember

    I was recommended this book by my best friend. I had no idea how this would totally hit home for me. I've been married for 12 years and I know I'm not the woman I was in my 20's. It's easy to let life change you. It's important to grow with your partner and not AWAY from them but it's so hard not to let that happen. We all get caught up with our day to day routines and we tend to take the small things too serious and the important things not serious enough. I enjoyed the glimpse into Alice's life. I felt like I was the one in an accident and found myself appreciating my husband and daughter more. It's a great read.

    I seriously lost sleep cuz I couldn't put this book down. She's a great writer who made the characters so real I miss them now that I've finished the book. Made me think---very profound. If only we could see ourselves that objectively without losing our memories! What would we change? Would we like ourselves better "before"?

    I've read this book over and over and over again. I love it from the beginning to the fantastic end. I adore the younger Alice and every time I start thinking about her I go back and read it again! I'd give it 10 stars. There are only three books that I can read repeatedly and love them every time. This is one of them.

    I loved two other books by this author so thought I'd try this one. It was so boring....I forced myself to keep reading, thinking it must get better. But no, it didn't. If you haven't read Big Little Lies or The Husband's Secret....buy those instead.
