    This has become my favorite series of all time. Great scenes and I like how the characters have great depth and the three books stay true to the theme began in the first. I cannot recommend a series more than this.

    As a man of a first person contempt. I went out of my comfort zone in reading this, to my surprise I loved this book. Sad and only problem is this book stole my sleep!! I stayed up all night reading this.

    It doesn't seem like I often encounter a fantasy story along the lines of Robert Jordan, Brandon Sanderson, or George Martin. This book seems right up their alley, though. The story is dynamic, revealing long held truths' of its characters to be myths and setting the scene for what will be an epic battle between mankind and demonkind. If you're looking for a book with some betrayal, some sex, some love, tons of magic, scores of ever-present demons, and a dying humanity... Then look no further. Off to start the second book.
