    As of right now I haven't had the opportunity to read any of Mr Grisham books within the last year or so because of a lot of tragedies in my life. But him and James Patterson are my favorite authors so I have no doubt that these books will be just as good and inviting as everything else they have written. Can't wait to get caught up.     Great read! Awesome suspenseful and thrilling. Make sure you read before the movie, as always the book is better but both are a must!

    I am glad I found this Novel. It was an excellent read! It kept me wanting more and more, from the office to the train, I couldn't get enough. Jake Brigance was by far the best character In this book with Lucian. I am impressed with the author. Good job!

    This is the first book I ever read from Grisham and it just made me become one of his biggest fans, I just can't stop reading his book one after the other just as they are realeaed. This is a great book it's very entertaining and has a lot of things to value and to think about it because it shows glimpses of how the segregation was in the mid 1900's. I hope you all enjoy it as I did.

    My professor recommended this book. Said it was a good read and I am happy I made the choice of buying it. The first book I have read for fun in years and I enjoyed every page of it.

    Excellent. Every time I read it I find it more and more enthralling. So emotional and realistically described it takes you to a place where you can actually see the case happening before you and feel the reality of what it would be like to actually witness in real life. Impeccably written. I applaud John Grisham.

    Hands down, this is by far, Mr. Grisham's best book and because he had enough clout by the time the movie was made, most unusually, it was as close to being honest and true to the book as well it should have been. Many times, an author's first novel was an abominable failure at sales. Grisham one stated that of the 5,000 books printed, only five copies sold, mostly to the bookstore owners in Mississippi he had begged to display his books. All the unsold books were returned to Dell/Random House and destroyed. Imagine the value of those autographed first editions!!! Everyone should read this book, even if not a John Grisham. It's spellbinding, emotive, evocative and last but not least, a damned good read. In the end, John Grisham became the winner!!
