    I personally love this type of literature, all political forms, though not a communist myself. I found this book to be less of explaining communism and more stating what communism hates, until the third chapter, most of the way through.

Envy those who prosper because of hard work and steal their property and belongings to give to leeches, parasites, and perpetual malcontents. Democide, a government's killing of its own people accounted for more deaths in the 20th century alone then all wars of human history combined. Communist run governments were responsible for the vast majority of these deaths. For a real glimpse into the hellish life of living under a Communist run regime read The Gulag Archipelago by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn.

    Very insightful. Helped me open my eyes to the ruling class and filled me in on the history of communism and socialism. Not too hard to read even if you're a beginner in this area of literature, but you may have to look up a few words. Overall good.

    While the idea has never correctly been used, do to people taking advantage of power, it is simply a good idea. Though others who prefer capitalism might shut their ears the moment they hear the books name, it's an interesting CONCEPT.

    Just because you disagree with the politics doesn't mean it gets 1 star. Clearly this book implies quite a bit about the human condition and is worth meditating on. Does that mean it's ideology is correct? No, but it does mean this is a good book to expand your mind and consider other ideologies this world has to offer.
