    Absolutely awful. Kate loses all of her character development and makes silly choice after silly choice. Also their was no really villain in this book. So the climax and ending barely made any coherent sense

    Story not as good as other 3 in a series. Written as part of the series but also as a stand alone. It didn't wrap up or hardly mentioned the items left dangling at the end of 3rd book. And their were several. Integral people in her life suddenly weren't, etc. disappointed after other 3.

    I have read the whole Kate Lange series. I really enjoyed the series. Will look into other books by this author The only issue I had was the time that some of the story occurred. Things happened within hours, or days very fast, seemed unreal they could happen so fast. Will look forward to more in this series.

    I've read all four of the Kate Lange series and I just loved and enjoyed them! The books kept me on the edge of my seat and I couldn't wait to see what Kate was going to do.

    This is a book I could not put down. The twists and turns in the plot are extremely intriguing. Characters are well thought out. The attention to detail regarding the city of Halifax, Nova Scotia where the story takes place is amazingly accurate. Callow's knowledge of the legal system is clearly demonstrated which adds much weight to the story. Bravo!
