When Grace starts a campaign to find Charlie's father, Anna, a girl claiming to be Charlie's sister steps forward. For Grace, finding Anna is like finding a new family, and soon Anna has made herself very comfortable in Grace and boyfriend Dan's home.
But something isn't right. Things disappear, Dan's acting strangely and Grace is sure that someone is following her. Is it all in Grace's mind? Or as she gets closer to discovering the truth about both Charlie and Anna, is Grace in terrible danger?

    When I last opened the book, and I always finish a book, looked at the page I was on, and the # of the last page. By page 310, I had to call it quits. I just couldn't keep trudging along.

    I've enjoyed the adventure through the present and the past learning how every character came full circle. I understand the sins of the parent greatly affect the life of a child. I enjoyed seeing Grace find her way and look forward to the next

    Seemed to be written in a childish manner. Plot was not tight enough. Ending a disappointment.

    Thoroughly enjoyed your book. Interesting concept using "then" and "now". The characters came to life as I learned of their childhood, their young adult years and their individual issues. We all knew a Grace when in school. As the plot twisted and turned I was unable to put the book aside, finally reading into the wee hours to the finish, my criteria for a 5 star rating. I was happy for Grace's pregnancy as she loved children, but couldn't see Dan becoming a strong husband or father. I'm hoping to see a next book soon!
