While other girls my age are hitting the clubs and getting laid, I spend my time changing catheters, bathing, and feeding my younger brother Hank. When extreme sports enthusiast Tucker Spaulding lands on my doorstep, I have no idea how to explain the mess of my life to him. He’s sweet and sexy and wild. And he treats Hank like a man instead of an invalid. No matter how much I like Tucker, I can’t risk my heart on a guy who plays so recklessly with his life. I know how fragile life can be, and Tucker likes to take too many chances.
Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe I’m missing out on life and hiding behind Hank. Maybe—just maybe—I should give Tucker a chance.
