    Appreciate the description of the characters so you begin to understand how they think and what motivates them. Really a wonderful read and looking forward to the next book

    From beginning to end, it was very hard to put this book down. I was reading late night when I was a few chapters from the end. A lot of new information and characters were introduced. It was too much to process in my sleepy state, but I finished it the next day because I was compelled to by the incredibly well written story line. Great characters and a great plot full of twists and turns. I'll be purchasing more books in this series for sure!

    I used to be a reader back in HS and I really wanted to get back into and somehow stumbled upon this book. It was a page turner from beginning to end. I found myself reading until 2 AM. I can't wait to read the sequels. Everything was so descriptive, I felt like I was watching a movie in my mind. I loved the twist at the end. But I did have some questions. Patty sounded way too education to be someone whose been chained up all of her life. There could have been more development on her. But this was a good book and I have recommended to several friends already.

    A well thought out masterpiece of crime thriller reading material. Keeps you spellbound and looking back over your shoulder for the bad guy. A much anticipated hot popcorn experience and sleepless nights staying up late to finish this one so I could continue with the next book in the series. Laters. KSW

    I never write reviews, but this book was awesome! I absolutely loved the writing style! Couldn't put it down and I can guarantee anyone who starts wouldn't be able to either. The author makes you want to know who it is and once you find out it is pretty horrific. Recommend!
